I just started my Mage, Kavil, but have dominated in classic EQ with it and the latest version of EQ. I picked up a Paladin and took to it like a fish to water. Both are fine for me to play but I rarely stay on as one because I get the itch to play the other. If I were to get into a friendly and semi-active guild (have random fun and get into groups easily) I would pick one and leave the other for a rainy day. Note: I have not explored all of classic EQ so do not expect me to know where is everything and where all NPCs are located. But, I learn VERY fast and work well in good groups and guilds. =
