^ Indeed! And if you want to get real legit this isn't even a role playing server so its not even that huge of a deal!
You can find something about almost every name... nothing is original anymore and I for one have never and will never pick my name from a random name generator.
I've fought Sony on so many names threw so many games and am GLAD to not have to fight with that now. And just so you know I have never once picked something that was childish or inappropriate. I've seen people get mad about a KS or deal gone wrong and just Google there name looking for something to report them on. So many names mean something in some language, some where.
So if there not copy righted or insulting then leave them alone. There's no need to read into it more then it just being a name. If I want to role play that the name my momma gave me was Squishy Pants because when i was a kid i fell waist deep in a sink hole of mud and had to walk 17 miles home in Squishy Pants... then that should be my right! (My name is not Squishy Pants BTW)
The point is you don't know from just looking at a list of names what people are role playing or there intent... so unless its the obvious "Bin Laden" or *Insert WoW Reference Here* name then just get over it and quit trying to make apples out of oranges.
Honestly its hard to tell whats worse... the guy picking the dumb name or the guy complaining about every name that didn't come out the "Random Name Generator"!
^ And I'm sorry if that hurts someones feelings but name bashing hurts mine! I go to heavy extent to pick my names because I'm the one who has to live with them for all my characters play life!
And just to prove a point:
Siri who started this thread for example is the stock market symbol for "Sirius XM Radio Inc.". So in all reality he is advertising for a Copy Righted Company Name and the stock market symbol that it stands for and I find that offensive and not in the nature of game play. Now his in game name might not be Siri but you get the point. You can find something almost about everything.
