Lol @ pricks automatically assuming the worst about someone.

Anyway, I use foxfi to tether my phone to laptop throught bluetooth. It works ok for web browsing and eq (usually runs fine lil higher than normal ping though). When you can't acceas wifi or home intwrnet tethering seems to be a reliable option.

My biggest concern was that I have a grandfathered unlimited data plan which would likely be terminated if verizon found out I was tethering without paying their 40 to 50 dollar monthly fee for 2 gb of data. Is there a way to avoid this? Can they tell I'm tetherinh to begin with? Like if I use youtube on laptop that's tethered to cell phone will verizon be able to tell the difference between that and my cellphone using youtube?

I've used foxfi and pdanet a few times while at work to play eq.
Both worked well and I didn't reciever any warnings or notices from verizon, although eq is very data conservative. It comes out to less than 100 mb of data per hour played. So...should I even risk verizon finding out? Or should I play it safe and suffer through no eq while at work?
