Have you opened your "Network and Sharing Center" and checked there's a decent connection running through it?
Go to
www.speedtest.net and see if you're getting a decent ping/speed while tethered? Does your provider cap your usage per month?
Lastly, and I don't want to be "that guy"...but are you trying to run 2 accounts at once?
