I'm not sure that Gore is harder, I think Trak might be easier due to a) the talisman stacking bug b) mallets helping with shroom tanks c) a higher percentage of damage on live being wizards since not every melee had an epic and a cloak of flames; obviously melee damage is relatively less effective on Gorenaire.
Also I'd like to mention that I think FE is basically a good thing for the server, and probably even TMO agrees. If Rogean gave Tiggles or Zeelot the opportunity to delete all your characters, I don't think they'd have to think very hard before turning that down.
Serious suggestion: if you look at TMO, they went through basically the same process you are going through (huge zerg -> gradual removal of morons/stockpiling of resist gear -> raid guild). But while you zerg with 50, they would zerg with 80. So it seems you need another merger. Lets not forget it was the merger with DA that made TMO into a competitor to IB. The obvious candidates would be Full Circle, Taken, Flawless Victory, and Europa. I'm sure you can tempt one of those guilds into a merger, after are you guys are killing VS at least so at minimum the Druids will be happy [You must be logged in to view images. TR were elitistic and got players banned for MQ. TMO seems to be in that phase

I don't believe a merger woudl be good, we're getting so many apps right now it's hard to keep up ! Some are quality players, some don't fit in tough and get kicked.
We're wiping on gore just like any guild (TR/IB/TMO) did in the past until they worked on the strat.
All in all it's good fun, TMO is just spinning to hide about their officers getting banned for MQ.
