I think you're misunderstanding what a "phrase" is. No, I don't think there's any problem with "Cryptwalker" and I think 95% of players would agree. But that's just it -- it's not a phrase.
"Show me the money" is a popular phrase, ergo, "Showme Themoney" should not be an acceptable name. Quite a bit different than a surname of Cryptwalker.

Surnames like Fallenleaf for a druid, would be totally legit.
Bearpaw for a shaman is also totally legit and 100% fits in the spirit or EQ and fantasy RPG's in general.
Do you actually think tribal names didn't exist in the middle ages? And what does EQ have to do with Earth's middle ages anyway? I have never read this in any EQ manual. It's a completely different universe.
Bonebreaker, Melodious, Lightningrod, (just some random names) would also be legit fantasy based names or surnames.
You are completely misunderstanding what the naming policy is on live.
