I would be red boxin all the time if this exp was not so slow. I am a working man and I used to play all the time but I do not have time to waste leveling alone for 2 months. I know I am not alone on this. If the server would just boost exp a ton up to level 55ish the box would hit 250 players online, why is this not a no brainer? The no lifers who play everyday will bitch but they are no lifers and they will go no where. In the long run they will be happy. This is a classic red EQ server and the xp is already way too fast for what is intended to be a CLASSIC red EQ server.
The only point I will agree with you on is leveling alone/solo, and that is a symptom of the huge global xp bonus on this server being solo based and not grouping based.
If they would only reduce the flat global xp rate to CLASSIC sullon zek levels, 20 percent, and placed the remaining xp bonus into a group based one (the bigger the group the higher the xp bonus) it would solve your problem.
You'd be able to find groups since groups would be a little bit more viable for xp then the pure soloing or PLing route now and you'd have fun playing Everquest as intended and not even notice what level you were.
The big elephant in the room here is that a select few solo to 60 or get PLed to 60 via the huge xp bonus, and ALL the group dependent classes are left out in the cold /lfg in vain.
