Long have I spent my days outside of Rivervale. In my youth I stood guard at the wall and slew bat and beast to keep our paths safe. Still, no threat ever loomed so great beyond the wall as the Goblinfolk. From their fortress in Runnyeye they mount their poorly organized raids. Their weapons are brittle and their spirits are weak, no raid has ever breached our fortifications.

In recent days, however, whispers tell of movement in Runnyeye and new allies of the Goblins. I received a letter from home. Soaked, crumbled, and bloody, I know not how it reached me in High Keep. The letter was from my father. My sister, Grechila Kneecapper, has been taken by the green bastards.

What part she plays in this and whether or not she is alive, the letter did not say. All I know is this: the Goblins of Runnyeye are up to something. I must save Grechila, and I must uncover their plans.

A mounted assault upon the Mistythicket wall would be suicide for the greenbellies... or would it?
