Hugs honestly has no clue how this game works and this is why he's delusional enough to think that he has a valid point.

In the few weeks I've been back, Azrael has made many more intelligent moves than not in regards to catching up. What he fails to comprehend, is that you cannot take a guild of people sub 60 with no end game loot and begin to try and brute force objectives from a guild that has had free reign on the server for over a year. A guild that had nearly every member taking advantage of the xp bonus on the launch of Kunark, whereas Azrael has acquired people coming back after the xp bonus expired.

As everyone may have noticed, Nihilum are not letting us have any objective for free. Anything we do get is done without their knowing or fought for, which tends to not go well due to their massive level, gear, and tactical advantage zoning in on us. The most important thing for Azrael over the last month has been making amazing progress, something Huggies is somehow oblivious to or is just underestimating the importance of.

Without levels and spells there is no way for us to take Kunark objectives even if we were to force Nihilum off of them. Our average guild level over the past couple weeks has gone from 52/53 to about 57 or 58. And we have done this even with Nihilum using gank squads to try and keep us out of key xp zones.

So I'm sorry Hugs, but your obvious lack of play time in the end game on live servers through PoP is extremely apparent. When raid encounters are not instanced and the top guild is doing all they can to keep you from gaining ground on them, you are only going to decrease morale and daily attendance by repeatedly ramming your head into the guild who has better geared alts than some of your best players.
Levels isn't what is holding Azrael back, the guild has been around since Kunark launched, which was now almost six months ago. It's being held back by terrible class composition, no PVE knowledge, bad players, bad leadership, low morale, no cohesion, terrible recruiting, etc. etc. The holo guys who have came back have managed to grind top gear and levels in two weeks while the same perpetually high players who have much greater /played than those guys since kunark launch are still grinding out dat big 56. Azrael isn't going to be the guild to get it done if the goal is to contest end game targets on a weekly basis. Call me a hater or whatever, though I prefer Emperor, these are the facts.
