How about because it's not fair or respectful to express or even harbor feelings of hatred towards any group of people based on any sort of common attribute including but not limited to occupation?
I do realize that this is an evolutionary characteristic that's shared by all intelligent creatures, but I hope we can eventually advance past it. One time some ancient ass human got eaten by a tiger so everyone was like "hey, let's not trust
any large orange feline creature with white/black stripes because it might eat us too." That's great, less humans got eaten by tigers, but we also became weary of anything not completely like us in order to survive. "If I can't understand it, then I don't like it" is innately human, but it requires a bit of intelligence and reasoning to think past that and realize that just because you can't understand someone's background or personal choices, you shouldn't wish ill will towards them; because no one is that fucking special, you live and you die and you turn to dust and you're nothing but the smallest blip on an infinite timeline.
