I don't believe imbued elven chain is in yet (and I totally forgot about that,, so sue me), though it's possible I'm wrong. Doesn't negate the fact that people, myself included, were trying to be nice to you.
You should know that the community overall is very good here, however, given your attitude I could see why and how you or your brother might not be experiencing the best people have to offer.
