It seems that most other people ran into this issue after a heat related issue. I highly suggest reseating your processor.
I have read through alot of forums now, reseat the PRC, its quite simple. If you want to take other steps before that, then flash your BIOS from outside of the OS.
Another thing you can try is shutting down the computer, removing the power cord and holding down the power button for 10-15seconds to drain all remaining power from the PC(flea power), then turn it back on and try again.
