Just went and tested it. It's worse now, actually.
I zoned in and headed for the Alchemist camp. The gate opened as normal but by the time I had gotten to the rock-door it was starting to lag slightly....I had been in the zone for about 30 seconds at this point.
Made my way back towards the scryer...the first door took several seconds to respond. The second took at least 10 seconds and the third didn't respond at all for going on a minute before I finally gave up and decided it would be best to gate out before my invis dropped.
Found a safe hallway and casted gate....It took over a minute from the time I cast the spell and the timer thingy went off to when the "casting gate" message game. It was around two minutes after that before I got the "entering everfrost..." message for the incoming zone...A total of around 3 minutes to gate out. Before, this stuff would take about 30 seconds from cast to actual zoning.
Once in Everfrost, everything was back to normal.
