Hasbin. If I could make a few suggestions as a seasoned Sona player. Drop warmogs... You already can heal a ton with W and the extra HP aren't good because you shouldn't be tanking damage anyway. Follow your carry and get in some good pokes/ults but NEVER find yourself in the middle of the fray. Rush Aura items and items with active abilities. (your team will LOVE you) For instance... Mikael's Crucible has an active BIG heal that you can pop on your carry to compliment your small heals. Locket of the Iron Solari give you HP (not as much as warmogs but still decent) and pops a damage SHIELD on your entire team if they are close enough! It can turn teamfights around in conjunction with you ult (or without it even). Also, unless someone else is going to build it, you should ALWAYS try and get Aegis of the Legion and Bulwark as either #2 or #3 item on your list. Also, for the much needed HP, Ruby Sightstone will give you enough. The Runic Bulwark (Upgrade from Aegis) actually gives you enough armor and Magic Resist that is far outclasses warmogs in defense, AND gives your entire team defenses.
As for summoner spells... Get Flash and Heal, or Flash and Exhaust. The reason for this is that when you are level 1, you can get plenty of hp/mana sustain with a 0/9/21 (taking the extra gold and gold on hit from utility tree) and having your starter items be: Crystalline Flask, Health Potions x2, sight wards x3. This will give you an early vision lead so that you won't fall to ganks.
Sona has great Poke early game and drops off late game even if you build AP like you are. She's much more effective procing those aura items and just making her team that much tougher by being around. Not to mention that AMAZING ult.
For runes I suggest Magic pen marks, flat armor seals, and flat magic resist glyphs with gold per 5 quints.
Feel free to ignore this but I have rarely lost with Sona keeping these things in mind. You do need a good carry, but even without AP items you can still do some great damage and assist the team better.
