I banked my CGS for the
Shield of Falsehood that you receive pretty early in the epic quest line. At the time, it gave me a bit more mana and also had greater AC. The higher wis may prove more beneficial at higher levels, though.
You also might be able to trade up to a
Strathbone Shell Shield
