While I may not be quite as blunt as Skeletonya about that, she does have a point. A lot of success comes from the fact of being able to organize a group of people to actually do things in the game. It's tough work being able to organize 15-30 people to kill these bosses.

It's not that hard to organize raids, you can't be lazy and you also need half a brain.
I think this is how it went down.
Everquest was emulated correctly, and people want to play again because everquest is awesome and addictive.
Then the pro players with too much time or really wanted to play everquest all naturally leveled to 50. The top guild was IB and they started dominating. As the conspiracy goes, they had help from the gods. There was no proof.
