I expect cheaters to be banned. I think all will agree bouncerr proved that even though players are flagged for third party software they use it for months without banning. If a business is in place for over 3 years selling plat, then its either the smartest company to have sold plat, or is not being punished adequately. Want to take away rmt and make raids better make the high end epic items like Hand of maestro, inny staff, stone from inny, etc non mqable. Track people who make high end sales of 200k or more. If you need help i will personally sit and sift through all transfers made each day and trace the money sources. I dont believe just checking high plat trades with no items is key to finding rmt, cause alot im sure are like me and have a high end banker in ec tunnel to buy/sell, but when you can find 10 places to buy plat in under 3 minutes, not to mention numberous links to project99 mq2 then its a reality its taking place and heavily. Is there an easy solution, no. Is there a solution, yes. Follow the money and let the ban hammer follow that. The money has to come from some where. Follow it back to the guild the person is in, reveal it and ban whoever you must. I can tell you the server opinion is that the staff is in on the rmt, which personally i strongly believe you for 1 are not, but i do not put it past others. I have personally seen bias given to guilds even when evidence of training/kiting are fraps and turned in. I know every circumstance is different, but as a guild you are responsible for the members you harbor. If you see members train and are made aware of it and allow them to stay in guild, then you have taken on the responsibility of that player. Easiest way to remove cheaters is to remove opportunity. I have heard if you banned cheaters it would kill the population, well whats worth more integrity of server, or population of server. After all p99 was created to honor the classic eq, correct?
