Ecoli, if you have the attitude that you're gonna die, then guess what, you're gonna die. It's simple as that. When you roll with a guild and you put into guild events, the guild will return the favor.

It sounds like at the moment you roll around solo, and that is why you get killed alot.

Roll with a guild that knows what's going on, grp with the guild, get your exp, and don't put yourself in a position where you might die. You are a caster with gate, if theres a bunch of people in your zone you know will PVP, then guess what either gate or camp till it smooths down.

You need a better attitude and seems to me some guidance in how to win Red99, let us show you that way.
I dont get killed alot.

Saidin caught me once AFK, Troriste and Renian too, and thrilla killed me while i was at the hospital and got deleveled to 53. Thats my 4 deaths in like 2 weeks 8 hours a day. It would have been 0 if i had been actively at the keyboards (Im camping some solo mob and selling/buying comic books on ebay).

I do exactly what you are saying, i didnt last 3 years in Eve online by being a clueless noob. Gate or camp when i know i cant win. I click that /who like a pro, its a habit from eve online where you always check whos in the zone before attempting to cross out of a zone. I mean, i was doing this 11 years ago too, on Rallos lol.

When i talk about the pvp id like to see, im mostly referring to around that time in FF when we had that big fight with Nihilum in Lavastorm. I died maybe 3-4 times in 2 hours. Thats to be expected. If you do attempts at 20vs20, someone is going to die, its almost inevitable.

This happened maybe 2-3 times to me on the box, some big battles like that. I mean that lasts more than 1-2 rounds. That people actually stay in the zone and fight, like we were on a pvp server. Thats what i want. Every day. Thats my fun.

When im talking about xp loss, Im not really talking about me, me, me, about how i do not like dying because then blablabla... Im thinking in terms of whats good for the server. In terms of why is it nobody came in Fear to cockblock us when i was in Nihilum for a month. It is evidently because of the xp loss. You have to see bigger than "I must be crying because i suck at the game". The way the server is set up, means that whoever has the biggest roster, wins. Its as simple as that. If you have a ratio of players like 3/8 5/8 then maybe skill will matter more than numbers. But thats not how it was back this spring when i was in Nihilum.

XP loss demands that after an hour or two of big battles, the losing side retreats to lick its wounds for days if not a week. So if a side has quite a larger amount of players online, which was the story of this server for alot of its history, then nobody wants to attempt it even if trying would be fun. Trying at 90% chance of failure resulting in harsh xp loss, good luck trying to convince people to pvp with you. If you are able to take a hard honest look at how it was back in the spring, you will admit that FF did not try often to go inside fear to try to stop NIhilum farming. And thats because of the xp loss.

Yeah the server might be better right now, because FR and NIH have numbers that makes it sort of even. But if FR ever gains the upper hand and makes half of NIHI quit, the server will be back to shit again. This emu requires too much time investment for me to have this sort of variables left to luck.

At least if they would revisit the amount you lose on each death, i might reconsider hanging my red99 jersey
