There actually was another ps2 everquest game called everquest heros of norrath or something similar, it was a gauntlet legendsish style game, isometric hack and slash with various EQ classes you could play as like SK, wiz, etc.
Was pretty lame, but my ex fucking loved it. I stopped liking it right around the time my SK got a pet and started sucking =P

champions of norrath, it was basically a rip off of baldur gate: dark alliance, which was basically a dumbed down hack and slash version of baldur's gate
EQOA on the other hand...
that game was great, many great memories were made there... DIREN HOLD REPRESENT!!
