Exactly! XP rate is perfect for a population leveling up together too. If I joined when the server was filled with lowbies - sure exp would fly and I'd be just another 60 like yourself who have thousands of pp to deck out a solo character today, where exp rate is "ok" cause you're raping yellows.
But as a newbie, today, with NO population at low levels - I'm forced to either A. roll a druid/wiz/necro/mage to 50+, then farm gear to level up a class I want to play. or B. hunt light blues till my ear bleeds red bull. That's retarded and probably doesn't help the server grow.
People come to pvp, there's no pvp at low levels, high level guilds aren't recruiting lowbies, and all I've read is how you upper levels want a bigger population?? so increase the exp rate to allow us lowbies to join the fight right? how does this hurt anyone? you high levels can roll 100 level 60s for all I care, create more spys to join guilds and cause more pvp drama - that's awesome. If I wanted to kill bats I'd join the blue server with 70000 population, but I don't - I stick it out to be able to gank people like you! RAGE DRUNKEN PVP!
But having me sit at low levels to cry and whine all day.......that's cold.......under the belt and pointless for the both of us. Don't you guys want to gank me? come on! I want to be ganked! Increase xp rate!

One reason I don't like it is that it destroys the hard work that people have put in. I leveled my necro to 33 with the standard exp before any bonus and it still kind of annoys me that others can get there so easily now. Another punch in the mouth is the scaled exp so 1-33 is even that much more insignificant.
I know Nihilum got the exp bonus from 50-60 but who cares, they are going to get 60 whether it takes them 2 weeks or 3-4 weeks.
I get what you are saying and it does suck that you can't roll the class you want but that's just how it is. You will always have something to complain about. If you did get easy access to level 50+ you will start complaining that you can't get gear or level 60's are steamrolling you.
The majority of the characters logged on when you play are under level 50, even though they may have other chars over level 50. There is fun to be had, both pve and pvp before level 50+. Giving everyone a free ride to 50 just erases the portion of the game that is already lacking because of low population.
