I never played back in the day...stayed loyal to EQ while half my guild on live vanished for about 6-8 weeks (many came back again).
I notice EA have their presence on the site, that's never a good thing :/

That happened with the mythic/bioware merger that EA committed a year or so ago, the game was long dead before that.
