Dark elf clearly the only way to go. Hide can help a lot sometimes, and they look super fucking awesome. Especially in purple armor.
High elves have the best stats by far but who wants those igjiot sleeves and a-hole helm graphics. Dwarves, just suck. Gnomes are OK and can see through walls
