Rogean leads the GMs/Guides. If he says something is still in, then it's in. He is still pretty active around p99 and all you have to do is bring it up to him.
I imagine Sirken just hasn't gone back and changed his "this shit is history" as it's kinda apparent that Rogean knows about Sirken's post.
If I were raiding and I could possibly change it so I didn't have to sock against a guild, I'd bring it up.
Better to be the 1st to know than the 2nd.
