Let me break it down very simply for you.
1. Training the zone in is not possible because he automatically engages and runs toward the raid forces at the zone in.
2. FTE means someone (or guild) is the FIRST TO ENGAGE.
3. How do you physically (or digitally I guess) engage it first if it is already engaged on a random person from a random guild at the zone in?
Now...given that he was en route to the zone in and hence already aggroed on someone or everyone (?), loot cannot be awarded based on FTE in the traditional sense. But this is exactly what happened.
If this was indeed a 'community' event wherein the rules which are made for the 'normal' events by definition do not apply, the loot rules should have been 'communal' and not 'normal' as well. The 'community' should have been rewarded and not one guild.
But I understand that you dont understand. Thats why Forceful Entry exists.
