Of course I have, but I was trying to draw a comparison between the two, and the best way to compare two styles is to isolate as many variables as possible. A great way of doing that when comparing musicians is to select a song they have in common. Which is why I chose Little Wing and Voodoo Chile (Slight Return).
SRV was out to prove that "not only Jimi could play like Jimi," and he certainly did that, I am absolutely not questioning his skill, but he is certainly a two bit hack as far as his style goes. Fucking
