Game freezes when trying to open character select
OK so here's the issue. My EQ client crashes when I try to log into P1999 from the server select screen.
-It only happens on Project 1999, I can log into the character select for EZ server etc. just fine
-I used a clean titanium install, which I also use for Shards of Dalaya which works fine.
-Disabling firewall does not work, nor does plugging into a modem or using a different internet connection altogether.
-Using WinEQ2 doesn't fix it. Using emulauncher doesn't fix it. Manually creating a shortcut with the "patchme" bit doesn't fix it either.
-I tried different game accounts. Same thing happens. I tried different resolutions (and matching the game resolution with my desktop), which didn't work.
-I've played P1999 in the past on this same computer and OS (Win7)
So if anyone has any suggestions to try it would be most appreciated.
