I'd attribute it to not having so much as a social network when he was younger making it that much more difficult for anything about him to be online. Although there should be something nowadays, it would make sense back when he was younger. For us now in our mid 20's to 30's, the internet is like, we're all over it. You can find tons of old shit you did just by looking up usernames.
