This is basically my experience as well. I've done both tons of times. Acid's always felt cleaner and way more controllable. But honestly there's tons of "fake"/substitute drugs on the market these days, DOI and DOB are the main culprit for fake acid and are both amphetamine's. But you can put whatever you want on a blotter sheet and say its LSD. I always test all my shit that I get cause I'm not trying to take bath salts or any other "experimental"/new chemical that makes you fucked up.

Good point. One more benefit of drug legalization is better quality. Prohibition makes it more likely that you take a substance that you're not prepared for. When you buy a can of coke, you can be sure it's not going to be filled with coffee, orange juice, or scat.
