This is basically my experience as well. I've done both tons of times. Acid's always felt cleaner and way more controllable. But honestly there's tons of "fake"/substitute drugs on the market these days, DOI and DOB are the main culprit for fake acid and are both amphetamine's. But you can put whatever you want on a blotter sheet and say its LSD. I always test all my shit that I get cause I'm not trying to take bath salts or any other "experimental"/new chemical that makes you fucked up.
The officers definitely used excessive force if you taze someone 14 times when they are already in handcuffs. There's no way they couldn't have realized there's definitely something wrong with this kid and hes not acting like a normal person would. They should be trained to see when someone is off their rocker and obviously doesn't even realize what they are doing. I can tell just by looking into someones eyes and their body language if they are fucked up on acid/molly/coke/prescriptions pills or whatever drug of choice for the night.
The kid shares the blame though, he knew he was taking drugs and whatever comes after is his responsibility. If you can't handle your shit or took the time and research to know what may happen it's no one elses fault but your own. Unless I trust my source or have my test kit on me I'm not gonna buy random drugs from a festival hopping hippy that swears his shit is the fucking bomb. People are in the drug business to make money, and if you can make or obtain "fake" drugs way cheaper and give you similar effects, you know they are going to. The whole situation is fucked up in general.
