I always thought 2-boxing meant you were actually
playing (like grinding or holding a camp) with two characters at the same time...
Like the OP, I also wouldn't have immediately assumed that it included briefly using a second account for buffing, transferring, etc.
Thankfully I learned the P1999 definition of 2-boxing before I got myself in [too much] trouble.
