anything to be known about choosing Prexus?

Cant decide, I like the way Erudites look but halflings have better stats and seem cool too, just can't think of what halfling clerics look like.
anyone got a link or advice?
5 Stats Matter..

Cleric Starting Stats: (STR/STA/AGI/DEX/WIS)

Erudite: 65/75/70/70/93 ... 373 total

Halfling: 75/80/95/90/90 ... 430 total

You can argue that DEX is a bit of a reach (does it truly help channeling?).. but even discounting DEX entirely you're gaining 3 wis as an Erudite and losing a whopping 40 points in STR/STA/AGI... Even if you pretend you are going to discount AGI, too... Erudites start at 70 so you'll end up dropping 5 points in it at startup simply to be above the AC penalty (you will get hit as a cleric, after all.. often enough to want 75 AGI anyways.. priest AC caps are low enough without giving away more).

You'll want to wear plate, and the extra 10 STR will come in handy for that. Starting in Misty is a lot closer to civilization than Toxx Forest. Erudites are blind as bats (either live with it or live your EQ life with your brightness cranked up to max). Halflings get racial sneak and hide (can afk med without getting molested).

So yeah, from a min max standpoint you'll be much better suited going halfing (or dorf or high elf or something). Erudites are high INT individuals.. If you're going to start your life in Norrath in BFE, it better be to have a nice head start as an INT caster... Not to play a WIS priest with low STR/STA/DEX/AGI who's a continent and a half away from the EC Tunnel (i.e. civilization).

That said, Erudites make plate look good. Its a solid choice for vanity.
