This statement is more misogynistic than anything Reiker has said in the thread.
Reiker might have some inner frustration toward women, but at least he doesn't have a pervasive belief that women are some kind of delicate, childlike species that needs regular and false reassurance. Women aren't fragile little lambs that should be told they're beautiful, "especially if they're not" any more than men are hulking gorillas that need to be told they're powerful, especially if they're not.
