So far it looks like humanoid as expected although some humanoid NPCs seem to be immune. Probably because they're quest NPCs but I know I couldn't pick any merchants, Rinna Lightshadow or some of the green humans near the WC pond. Sargent Slate was kind enough to relinquish a bloodstone from his possession so I'm just that much closer to an EoN
