Stopped reading there. You can get upset all you want, but the fact of the matter is, nilbog and company has stated many many times that as time progresses, the server will be tuned closer and closer to EQ classic. It's not going to be done overnight (obviously), but it will happen.
People who are regularly on these forums know this, hence why most of them were not surprised by the patch notes, nor did they care.

I'm not going to go any further in this thread as I'm new from coming back from playing to raid content a couple years ago and I can't intelligently argue about the points I was making.
