I'm going to do some research on this and bug report because I vaguely remember this working in kunark. I think there was even a patch that read "/pet report will now return a list of the current buffs on your pet"

There was no way to determine what buffs were on your pet. /pet report would return only a % of pet's hp. This was changed in Luclin or later.

All i'm saying if your gonna go Full Classic then go Fully Classic. Don't pick and choose what you want to be classic and take away stuff that is already in game that wasnt classic after its been there for 2 years.

I said this long ago, but I will reiterate the following:

I hope it is known that the server will become more classic as time progresses. As live servers would patch in new content or features, we patch out newer content or features.

We will restore prekunark, Kunark, and Velious to the best of our abilities. We will put polish on them, and they are free for you to roam. Some content and features may be patched out before others, but do not be of the mindset that present non-classic elements are here to stay. It is only a matter of if they can be fixed, how they can be fixed, and when we can fix them. If there was a switch to immediately and completely revert this to classic, I'd flip it. Until there is, we will occasionally ask you for your feedback.

I haven't logged in my necro to mess with pet commands yet... I'll probably do something similar for those.

Some helpful shorthand pet hotkey making:
/ho attack /pet attack --- will create a hotkey for /pet attack
/ho health /pet report health --- creates a hotkey for pet's health
/ho backoff /pet back off --- creates a hotkey for pet back off.
