I would HAVE to imagine that firing off those debuffs in a solo situation, when mana/time permits, would make a pretty big difference in how well a charmed pet would fare against whatever you're fighting.

my guess is that compared to landing slow, these debuffs are useless. also, on a lvl 60 mob, it might take 1-4 casts to land slow. trying to cast these other debuffs will take many tries/lots of mana as well as increase how much agro you have. when fighting a lower level mob you can for sure stun/mez/slow/mez/debuff/mez/memblur, then med up for a sec, charm a pet, n take that mob down easily without having to haste/weaponize your pet (which can spell doom on a charm break, esp if you are new to soloing high end stuff). thats just my guess though. you have to keep in mind how long the debuffs will last for when you plan to memblur/med, obviously
