Do you understand the concept of false dichotomy? You present two possibilities here; they probably say more about your personality than anything else. You want to be recognized for your EQ skills. Good luck with that, backstab, backstab, backstab.
Consider this possibility: I am a young doctor. I used to be a struggling college student back in the day. I had time on my hands and a ranger with a cloak of flames and epics.
Now I make $300,000 a year, but I'm exhausted when I come home from work. I want to mess around on that ranger again, but I sure don't want to stare at empty boss spawns or respond to someone else paging me to log in. For less than I make in two hours, I can have my cloak and swords. I don't care if you're impressed with them. I just want them and I have the assets to easily obtain them and now I have them. Sometimes I just sit at character select and smile at my recreated ranger. Ah, the memories.
This is one of limitless scenarios for RMT that have nothing to do with your simplified e-peen stuff. I don't actually expect you to be able to grasp this. I sure am impressed that you have a rogue epic, though.

who's doing the dick swinging in this conversation? i like how you felt the need to direct your response as a personal dig towards me.(ya my main is a rogue, and a damn sexy one at that) but look bro noone gives a fuck about how much money you make or how you can transfer that money into pixels, my point is that RMT creates an unlevel playing field at best. and an unskilled playerbase at worst. ya i know this game requires very little effort besides "backstab, backstab, backstab." i mean technically the situation that you described(your RL) is alot more pathetic than the example i presented(just some shit that i made up on the spot) but whatever man to each their own, have fun jacking off to your RMTed ranger.
