I think PoP was a kick in the nuts to alot of classes. Giving wizards manaburn and then taking it away because it made them "over powered cockblocking assholes" (as heard by a disgruntled guildy at one point) was rather harsh.
TBH, I've never played either class past maybe 25. Now...if you have an enchanter question, then we can talk.
