The roughly 700-1kish per hour you'll get from seafuries is the most consistent way to farm plat, period. Farming items for plat is for suckers - you might get lucky here and there, but you just won't make as much money over time as you will with stuff like seafuries.
An alternative is farming lower level guards for consistent droppables (i.e. paineel guards, halfling guards, etc). It's not as fast, but I made 3k doing Paineel guards between 26-30 or so. Tedious, but you're getting exp while you do it, so no real downside.
((note: unless you're an erudite necro, you probably can't get a key to paineel - although i'm willing to be corrected here. I have a gnome necro who got the key before they fixed the factions associated with paineel))
((note 2: no faction hits associated with killing paineel guards - just beware of killing them near the bankers/merchants - I got body-slammed once by one of them for it))

this is only valid if you want to be actually "playing" for the time lot. when i'm farming i like to be afk so i do item camps.
some easy ones:
Droga: Idol/BG (you can easily make 1k an hour if you keep hoarding CoS. also, you can run to the EoE camp too) spawn time 20 min.
