I've always felt like the aoe heals were more than six times the aggro of a normal heal, but that's just anecdotal. You can test the exact aggro of the two spells by just asking a GM to look at combat logs for two different fights where you use the spells (so one fight use an aoe heal, another fight use the corresponding single target heal, and ask the GM to compare the aggro values).

cheal x6 would be WoR, and cheal threat is like, nothing. I can throw 20 cheals on a tank after 5 charges of mallet. One WoR after 10 charges of mallet and it's STILL on me. and those are like 3000 cheals, WoR is like 800-900 with dis/pois ccure. Threat on it is straight fucked--we'd use 5-6 aoe heals every, single, aaryonar or vyemm. and no threat. and no mallets. I'll look into what giegue says, see if ambrotos can help.
