You probably won't find banded for 8gp. 1pp per ac is the going rate on player crafted banded. Espeacially if you're looking for large I had a devil of a time finding it.

Profit margin on 1pp/ac for banded is
barely worth it to a lot of crafters (unless they are lower level or skilling up with it). Their cost to make a set is 37p and the total AC is 91. Barring a trivial fail your margin is 54pp, plus the time to make (including obtaining any offsize molds, which for large is just damn inconvenient for a lot of smiths) and meet your seller.
