I'm not saying people aren't allowed to criticize other's actions. I'm also going to make it clear, this post (these posts) aren't in defense of TMO. Nor of IB, or BDA, or VD. It's against the methods you all go about dealing with this. People are refusing to try to be mature about this. If I wanted to take the time to, I could quote about 40 posts from each guild involved, just in the last week alone, that leads me to believe you're all in like 4th grade. You just HAVE to fight.
Criticism is one thing. But it's no excuse to turn to rabid trolling (which many members from all guilds involved do), nor is it an excuse to drag the argument out into Server Chat when it belongs in RnF.

^^^This right here. 99% of where this server's population comes from anymore. People that play here, for the most part, don't come from within the EQEmu community at large anymore. Because everyone on EQEmu is aware of P99, and if they wanted to play here they would have done it already. Instead we get people that read the millions of "come join P99!" comments on Classic EQ videos on Youtube, or friends/family of people that already play here, and they decide they want to try it out. They have no idea how EQEmu works. They don't even know what BucaneerBays are. They start out right here, on the forums to try to figure it out. To learn how to ste it up and get a feel for the server and community. You know what the first freaking thing they see is?

Then add on top of that things like the fact that people with spouses/children/roommates have to wait in a 4-5 month queue to get an IP exemption just to play together. You guys wanna get people to play here but almost everything you do is counter productive to that goal.
If you guys can't be civil or friendly with each other (Which I really wish we all could, but I can see that is well beyond possible now) can you at least take this to RnF where it belongs, and keep it there....for good? No one is going to want to play here if this is their first impression of the server. Classic EQ isn't worth this. Nor is this Classic.
Anyway, I'm done. I'd rather not get tangled up in this, but I feel it's something that needed to be said, and I'd be damned if I didn't make an attempt. Ignore me if you want. No skin off my nose now.
