Heres the difference, and why I never liked FFA anythings.

Teams you have a common goal. People you HAD to work with. It gave you an arbitrary group of people who you had to band together with.

FFA you don't have the drive to "stop Hate from getting Dain this week."

Teams gave you an identity and a reason to keep logging in. FFA never felt to me, as if you had a REASON to go kill someone, other than to be a dickbag after that bad day at school when the bully took your lunch money.

SZ was my favorite ruleset. No rules. Teams, no level range, and accelerated EXP.
