In your post, you have half of the conversation.

Nothing shows the dates of when she sold the account and when the account ended up in TMO.

Everything she says is in past tense and doesn't even give a hint to who the account was sold to, other than 'oh it's in tmo now, lolz oh noes'.

So obviously everyone that has any involvement with RMT in any such manner should have an account banned. This means even if you bought an account for plat when it had previously been RMTed, the account must be banned. All parties should be, in fact, especially ones who withhold all the info of said RMTing.
