I'd say meeting the basics of the class is a good place to start. Add to that some finesse in difficult situations and you're doing better. To really get up there, though, in my opinion, you should be able to solo some difficult mobs. I've never seen or heard about Baubarian doing anything remotely impressive other than showing up to 90% of raids in whatever guild and buffing less overall than people with one third the attendance.
herp derp I keep everybody buffed and use everquest companion to keep timer on buffs, cast slow and torpor, pay attention 100% and get up at 4am to slay pixels, herpy derpy derp derp, everquest requires skills, herp derp I pay attention to spell resist types and stack correct gear herpy derpy herp.
