It's kind of late to spin it that way when so many responses in various Eve threads have been along the lines of "omg this game looks great to grief in."

Doesn't need spin...lol. People don't understand a game so massively huge and complex that they can play the game pretty much any way they want.
I started out talking EvE down because - to quote Diggles - I am
bittervet, but that's from playing so many years and watching changes. Like them taking out ghost training when it was originally a feature, but w/e.
You don't like PvP...don't have to. Play missions all day and create an empire...all in hi-sec space. You like PvP lite? Cruise low-sec and pirate-hunt. Like to grief
stupid freighter pilots (ones that auto...or haul through low-sec without a spotter or help...) done.
This game is so huge you can do anything. Always has been. A smart player
can't be griefed, conned, or otherwise have a feather ruffled in EvE...the joy - and fact of the matter - is that just like any other game, there are idiots...and carebears that think they can safely mine in null sec just like they can in hi-sec, or some dolt that doesn't understand the mechanics of a can-flip. You research the game, hook up with a corp like EvE University...make friends and learn that grief is reserved for retards.
One thing I can guarantee you is that you'll never have to play alone...24/7 - 365...or you can always play alone if you prefer. Or play alone sometimes....w/e.
There's a newer video, Sam.
