Food/drink
Food and drink always used to be consumed from top-level inventory slots before being taken out of backpacks. I have a backpack with food/drink in slot 1 and it's always consumed from here before pulling it out of any free top-level inventory slots that any food I forage may have been dumped in. Nothing to do with the patch today, it's been like this forever.
