Tracking simply takes too much time that it's not worth it. I get that there are shortcuts you can take and that you don't need to be tracking 24/7. I was lucky enough to be studying for an exam so I was at a computer the whole time, and it didn't take much effort to tab over and press "track" every few minutes. But usually I wouldn't be able to invest that much time. If our guild had over 100 active members maybe things would be different. I'm not bitter that TMO tracks raid mobs because they're doing what anyone else in their position would do. But having 30 people on a mob's spawn point at all times is a form of bullying, and that kind of behaviour should be condemned. I know it doesn't happen often, hell maybe it won't ever happen anymore without IB around, but that was what I dealt with whenever I tracked VS and that's what just one thing that motivates my attitude towards the raid scene.

PS: This is a red herring anyway since this kind of dedication wasn't required in classic, and this is a classic server.
I'll give you the easiet shortcut. Buy a dummy account, apply to TMO, get tagged to their batphone. when a target pops, tmo batphone will let you know thus allowing you to let your guild know, even though you will probably still lose to them in the end. no matter what you do, you will lose friend, YOU WILL LOSE until the day TMO self implodes. Like every great empire, it will collapse if not from outside, but from within
