I have a pretty large friend circle, most everyone knows everyone else. I didn't mention girl from option 1 is in some kind of unhealthy relationship with someone I know that all my friend's know so I can't be like, "yo dave, steph wants me to come over" and his response will be, "isn't she dating bob?" I don't need that kind of drama.
plus, it's always good to get an objective p.o.v. from a random stranger - they usually give the best advice.
