I'm new to Project 1999 and first of all I'd like to express my utmost gratitude to the good old EQ community which is, as ever, unmatched; and more specifically I'd like to thank the people behind Project 1999 who have done an incredible job.
I have a small issue with Mouseview in the game, I spent quite some time trying to solve it but I must be missing something obvious. Log in or Register.]), right clicking on the screen and moving the mouse lets you look around WITH your character following the move. **However**, LEFT clicking, which enables you to look around WITHOUT your character following the move on EQ live servers or WoW, does not seem to work on Project 1999, simply selecting whatever was where the cursor was instead of activating mouseview camera.
Is there an option I'm missing or an easy fix, and if not, how do you people play? Always in 1st view, old school way I guess? I like to play in 3rd view more than every now and then, nowadays...

This feature is called "Mouselook" on EQ and was not put in until Seeds of Destruction. As such it only works with the Seeds of Destruction and Underfoot clients which, while 100% compatible with the other EQEmu servers (and imo are much better than shitty Titanium) those clients do not work on Project 1999. Titanium is several years too old for Mouselook and does not have that functionality.
Thus issue is unfixable. =/
